What do I need on my computer to connect to the Service?

Is it possible to share my connection with more than one computer?
Mobile Solo – No it is not possible
Mobile Multi – Up to 4 computers can simultaneously share the connection wirelessly or with Ethernet cables using the supplied Wireless broadband router.
I'm outside the coverage area or in another town – is there any way to get the service?
We will be continually expanding this service into areas where genuine demand exists. If you are interested in the service, Digiweb can keep your details on file and contact you in the event that your area obtains coverage in the future.
Can I install the equipment myself?
Yes. The Mobile Broadband service can be installed within a couple of minutes. A full installation booklet is supplied with the equipment and our Technical Support Hotline is available should you encounter any problems or have any queries.
Where is the service available?
Currently, our next generation Mobile broadband is live in Fingal County, including: Balbriggan, Ballyboughal, Blanchardstown, Clonsilla, Corduff, Donabate, Kinsealy, Mulhuddart, Portmarnock, Rush, St Margarets and Swords.
Additionally, we are continuing to expand the service into many other areas and would welcome hearing from you to register your interest.
Does the Install cost include purchase of the broadband equipment?
No. The supplied equipment remains the property of Digiweb Ltd. and must be returned should you cancel the service.
Are there restrictions on where I can use the Service?
Digiweb's Mobile Broadband is a true high speed next generation broadband internet owned and operated by Digiweb. It provides fast, secure internet access with an easy plug and play service. It can be used while on the move or from different locations, providing there is sufficient coverage. You may find that certain locations provide better performance. For example, moving the equipment to a different room may result in improved connection speeds.
Is this service secure?
A number of measures are taken to ensure that the data travelling between your computer and our basestation is at least as secure as your data travelling across the internet itself. As this is an always-on broadband connection to the internet we do strongly recommend that you take additional precautions to secure your system i.e. install and keep up-to-date Antivirus & Spyware software and ensure that your PC / Network has an active firewall.
Is the speed guaranteed?
The service is offered similar to other internet services where the connection is effectively shared between a number of users, so the quoted speeds are the maximum speeds achievable. Additionally, as the service is strongly related to the signal strength, moving the equipment to a different location may result in improved performance.
Will my existing email account work?
Depending on the email you use at present you may be able to continue using it without any disruption. All Digiweb Mobile Broadband packages include email services with up to 10 POP mail accounts, outgoing SMTP server, and Web-Based Email access. For Email settings please Click Here .
If I cannot pick up a signal, how soon do i need i need to return the equipment?
In the event that there is no coverage in your area and the service does not work, please contact Digiweb Technical Support for troubleshooting and monitoring. If the signal cannot be improved and / or the service does not work, they will instruct you how to return the equipment. Providing the equipment is returned within 14 days of purchase, they will be no charge and all monies will be returned.

What happens if I move house?
On subscribing to the service you are required to contract the service for a minimum of 12 months - This term must be completed even in the case where you move to another location outside of coverage.
What is the length of the contract?
This contract is for an initial term of 12 months and shall automatically renew for subsequent 12 month terms.
What happens if I cancel within contract?
Should the Subscriber terminate the contract for any reason during the initial term, a cancellation fee equal to three (3) months monthly service fee (or full value of remaining term for Mobile Broadband) will become immediately due.
What happens if my equipment gets broken, how do I replace it?
If the equipment gets broken or becomes lost, please contact Digiweb Technical Support for assistance. Please note, if the equipment needs to be replaced there may be a charge.
