Transferring a domain to another party
Transferring a domain to another party is a common question asked to our support staff on a daily basis. With this in mind we have created this article for you to read carefully to understand the process.Section A - You are transferring a domain, or a number of domains to another party with a Digiweb hosting account
***If you are not doing this, skip to 'Section B'***
- Request via email, or phone for the domains to be UNLOCKED and the EPP/Auth codes to be mailed to you.
- Forward these codes to the party whom you wish to give the domain(s) to
- The party who wishes to have these domains can make an order on our system under their account and will be prompted to enter the EPP code you provided.
- You may get an email after the order is placed to authorize the transfer
- Once a transfer is complete, it can be then managed in the digiweb management control panel.
Note:
If the new domain owner is also choosing to host the domain under digiweb, the domain MUST be removed from your H-sphere control panel, as they will not be able to add the domain to theirs.

Section B - Transferring domains to another party who will register elsewhere
- Request via email, or phone for the domains to be UNLOCKED and the EPP/Auth codes to be mailed to you.
- Forward these codes to the party whom you wish to give the domain(s) to
- The party can then use these EPP/Auth codes to initiate a transfer to a domain registrar of their choice.
- You may get an email from the new registrar to confirm the transfer request
